Miss High Cotton U.S.A. Contest: Vote!
Posted by Peach and Love on 01/19/2010 in uncategorized

Some lucky girls are going to the King & Prince Beach and Golf Resort on St. Simons Island, GA for a fabulous, free, and beachy weekend! Who will it be?  It's up to YOU to decide!

Take a look at our contestants below and choose your favorite Miss High Cotton.  In addition to receiving the coveted title of Miss High Cotton U.S.A., the winner will win a trip for herself and her B.F.F. to St. Simons Island, Georgia (airfare included) where they will stay at the luxurious King and Prince Beach and Golf Resort.  We may just surprise them with other fun things as well!

Without further ado...here they are in alphabetical order by first name.

Our first contestant is Becky.  She looks like she would know how to have a fun time on a girls weekend away, don't you think?  Becky proudly wears her crown and cotton.

Our second contestant is (also) Becky.  Becky and her friends had to park at the end of a long, muddy drive to get to their High Cotton game and proudly show off their wet, dirty jeans.  And what is better than a High Cotton game?  High Cotton and cake!  :)

Our third contestant is Carole.  She and her friends know how to get the cards flying...and check out that dazzling, winning chip!  Carole works her magic in her sparkly tiara.

Our fourth contestant is Cindy.  Her shirt says it all..."Some girls are born winners!"  Cindy proudly wears her Miss High Cotton sash and tiara.

Our fifth contestant is Deborah.  She is the official Miss High Cotton of Two Friends in Perry, GA.  These girls really know how to throw a party.  Deborah looks dazzling with her cotton bouquet.

Our sixth contestant is Elaine.  She is a skilled High Cotton player, and we are certain she has probably given or received a few scratches in her quest to obtain that fabulous crown.

Our seventh contestant is Jane.  Her daughter Becky had the honor of being the first person to host a High Cotton game in the southern city of Charleston, but we see who has the winning chip now!  She is proudly supported by her son-in-law who we are certain would love to claim the title of King Cotton!  :)

Our eighth contestant is Josie.  She fought hard for that crown and wears it well.  We heard through the grapevine that she took it from a former Miss High Cotton.  Friends are great, but this a competition after all!  :)

Our ninth contestant is Marie.  She and her friends are the epitome of High Cotton in their luxurious fur coats.  The lucky juice in that sterling punch bowl surely gave her the winning edge!  :)

Our tenth contestant is Tami.  It's easy to see that her friend on the right is clearly dismayed at not having the title herself, but Tami did what it takes to win.  Way to go Tami!  :) ha

Our eleventh contestant is Marybeth.  She looks very regal in her burlap gown and cotton crown.

So there you have it...the decision is in your hands people!  Choose your favorite contestant and cast your vote before noon on January 25th.  Please ask all of your friends to vote also!

And, if you don't know yet about the "High Cotton" card game, by all means check out our Products page and order a game for yourself or visit one of our wonderful shops which are listed in the Store Locator section of this blog.  Happy Playing and Voting!
